Find your new forever friend MAXWELL: One-and-a-half-year old Maxwell is a lovely dog. Although he can be a little timid with strangers, once he knows you he is very happy and enthusiastic about everything! He loves to play ball and go for long walks and he knows his basic doggy manners but does need a little help to learn a few more things. Maxwell really likes other dogs and gets very excited and playful so he would be best suited to a home with a dog of similar play style. He has also lived with a cat, which he quite liked and has spend time indoors.

JEZEBEL: Despite the name, this two-year-old young lady has such a gorgeously quiet personality, you may find her hiding under her blanket all warm and cosy! She has such a pretty face and just loves a bit of love from her humans. She would be suited to a quiet household and with a little time to settle in and get used to her surroundings, we believe she would be an amazing lap cat to keep you company in front of the tv and would find a warm spot in the sun during the day.

RIPPA: Seriously … look at that face! How can you resist? Four-year-old Rippa is a very smart boy who will keep you amused and entertained all day long. He loves all of his toys and will play fetch until the cows come home. He can sit, drop, spin around and we’re sure there is a lot more he can do. He is toilet trained and would enjoy a home where he can spend his days with his human friends. Come and meet Rippa today.

GUINEA: Guinea is a handsome little dark bay gelding. He is approx. 14.1hh and is a rising 8 year old. Guinea is a retired harness racing horses so he is not broken to saddle but he has proven to be a kind, friendly and easily handled horse. Guinea came into care in very poor shape, but has flourished with some TLC. He is currently shedding his winter coat. All vaccination, drenching, trimming and dental work is up to date. Guinea will be microchipped prior to being adopted.

PRECIOUS: Precious by name and precious by nature, this girl is just lovely. She can be shy at times but if you get down to her level she soon becomes a smoochy character! Three-year-old Precious is suited to a home without dogs but is just fine with other cats, she has always been an indoors cat so she may find going outside a bit too scary especially as she has a timid nature.

ELSA: Elsa came to the shelter with her brothers and sister. They were very frightened but after lots of time with staff eight-month-old Elsa is coming out of her shells and now ready to find her forever home. She is still quite wary and will need lots of patience and a gentle approach to training. She is going to be quite an active dog and will require lots of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her busy.

THUNDER: Thunder is an eight-year-old and stands approximately 10hh. He is a little shy to catch but once caught he is absolutely fine, he has gained confidence since being in care. Thunder will require a patient and experienced home to further his training and education. He is not broken in to saddle. Being a pony, his new owners will need to be aware of the risks of laminitis and management of feeding and living arrangements will need to be considered. All trimming, drenching, vaccinations and microchipping will be completed prior to adoption.

TORAH: Two-and-a-half-year-old Torah is a quiet cat and she is looking for a nice quiet household! She is fine with children as long as they are calm with her and she would be okay living in the same household as a dog given that the dog is cat friendly as she tends to just ignore them! Torah has always been an inside cat and will need to remain that way. Please speak to our staff about Torah’s dietary requirements.

BUTCH: Just get a look at this gorgeous boy! Three-year-old Butch is a gentle giant who is looking for his forever home. He has excellent manners, walks well on a lead, sits beautifully and was even good around the cats here at the shelter and also the resident rooster.

DAISY: Gorgeous Daisy is a sweet senior who sadly arrived to us after her owner passed away. She has had lot of sadness and upheaval in her life and needs a new home to help her find her feet again. This girl has been used to living with other senior cats and would make the perfect lap cat for someone who is looking for a constant companion

JACK: At seven years old Jack through no fault of his own is looking for a new loving home. He would ideally love a home where he can be indoors with a loving family. He has lived happily with children in his previous home and is toilet trained. Jack enjoys playing with his toys and is good with other dogs but most of all he loves the company of his human friends. He would love a fresh start.

LILLIAN: Is a cat with ‘tude! Lillian is a beautiful cat. She is quite an independent lady, she likes to do her own thing and isn’t really the kind of cat to be picked up and cuddled when you feel like it but she will be affectionate when she feels like it! For this reason it’s best she doesn’t go home to very young children! Lillian is suited to most households, except for those with another cat! She’s the queen bee. She has her playful moments and would benefit from some interactive cat toys to keep her mind stimulated.
